Bulova to showcase world’s first curved chronograph movement at IJL 2016

Hugely successful watch brand Bulova will present its innovative new CURV Collection at Olympia Grand in September, alongside its sponsorship of the IJL Catwalk.

Built from the inside-out, the Bulova CURV watch is precisely engineered to incorporate the first-ever curved quartz chronograph movement. This is then coupled with a sleek, ergonomic case design for a refined finish.

The new AW16 collection includes 12 styles, balancing a mix of dress pieces and sport-inspired watches. The highlight of the offer, the ‘touchstone style’, features an exhibition caseback and see-through dial with a titanium and steel case and buckle and black rubber strap.

Steve Ramsay, managing director of Bulova Europe, says: “This will be the first occasion that the Bulova Watch Company will be showing at IJL and we are all eagerly anticipating one of the UK’s major luxury watch and jewellery events, with the launch of the new and unique Bulova CURV watch collection.”

Visitors to Bulova’s stand at IJL 2016 will also be able to find out about the brand’s exciting partnership with The Recording Academy – the organisation behind the Grammy Awards. This three-year partnership includes a Grammy-inspired collection of Bulova timepieces, as well as various live events to celebrate iconic Grammy-winning music and artists.
