The International Jewellery London team took over the ground floor of London’s prestigious Goldsmiths’ Centre on June 15 to host two special masterclasses: the Exhibitor Masterclass and the Designer Support Programme.
All of the brands, businesses and designer-makers exhibiting at this year’s IJL were invited to attend our day of informative talks. Both sessions were designed to offer essential advice, top tips, marketing support and confidence to help exhibitors make the most of their time and financial investment in IJL.

The morning session – the Exhibitor Masterclass – was a crash course in making the most of the IJL Exhibitor Hub, accessing our free marketing support and working with the trade media. Guest speakers included retail sales expert and consultant, Jo Henderson, IJL marketing manager, Sarah Kitley-Spencer and Siobhan Holt, deputy editor of Retail Jeweller magazine.
The wider IJL team were also on-hand to explain show logistics, security and our prestigious Diamond Club.

Jo Henderson shared her wisdom alongside the NAJ’s Lindsey Straughton and jewellery industry consultant Aldyth Crowther. All three have experience across the trade, both at the heart of retail businesses and as jewellery industry insiders across the media, trade events and emerging trends.
By the end of the afternoon, designers had managed to settle some of their pre-show nerves in favour of excitement. Plus, we shared some insider tips on making your stand look as eye-catching as possible to passing buyers.
